  • How do I take a trial run of FacesofLyme Ecards?
Anyone can take a FacesofLyme Ecard Trial. Simply click on "eCards" in the orange navigation bar. Then click on the "Start" or "Start Now" button and follow the directions online.
 
  • Is there a limit to the number of Ecards I can send?
If you are not a FacesofLyme Plus Member you can only send 1 Ecard through the FacesofLyme Ecard Trial. Once you become a FacesofLyme Plus Member you can send out as many Ecards as you like. You may not use this Site to send online eCards to mailing lists to which you do not have full rights or to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages. Doing so can result in FacesofLyme suspending your membership. Please read our Terms of Service to find out more.
 
  • How do I send an Ecard?
After you become a FacesofLyme Plus member, log in to your account and click on "About Me" to go to your Private Profile Pages. Click on the tab, "Media" and you will see all of your uploaded photos. Under the photo you would like to send as an Ecard, select the checkbox next to "Make An Ecard" and then click on "Make An Ecard" and follow the online directins.
 
  • I cannot view my Ecard image. What can I do?
When an image does not appear it is frequently because there is a communication error between our servers and your computer. This will cause the Internet connection to "time-out" before a download is complete. You can usually click on the refresh button on the browser toolbar to force the page download to happen again.
 
  • What's the maximum length of my personal message?
There is no maximum on the length of your personal message. You can say as much or as little as you would like.
 
  • How can I send my Ecard to multiple recipients?
After you have uploaded your photo and chosen a design that you would like to send, you are taken to a page where you are asked to input your friend's email address. On This page there is a drop down box next to the title "Number of Recipients". Select up to 20 people to send your message to. We keep the number down to 20 to discourage people that may use our system to send out spam. You can either input all 20 email addresses or use your Address Book to import email addresses.
 
  • How long does it take to deliver my Ecard?
Ecards are usually sent within an hour.
 
  • How do I know that the Ecard has been sent?
You will receive an e-mail from FacesofLyme.com confirming the delivery of your Ecard. If you have selected the 'notify' option on the 'message' page, then you will receive another e-mail when the recipient views your Ecard. The e-mails will contain the links to view the Ecard.
 
  • Why didn't the person I sent my Ecard to receive it?
This problem most often turns out to be a typing error. Please double-check the accuracy of your recipient's e-mail address. However, if your recipient's e-mail address is correct, their internet service provider could be routing the Ecard notification to a bulk folder by mistake. For example, Yahoo sets up bulk folders to intercept what they consider to be bulk mail or "spam" allowing only personal messages through to the inbox.
To assure that your Ecards are received by your intended recipient, you may wish to send the Ecard to yourself and then forward the notification that contains the Ecard address to the recipient. You may also forward the copy you have received to the recipient.
 
  • Can you resend an Ecard to the correct mail address?
No we can't resend an Ecard to the correct mail address. Unfortunately, no change can be implemented once an Ecard is scheduled for delivery. To send an Ecard to the correct mail address you must recreate a new Ecard with the correct details.
 
  • Ecards from FacesofLyme go to my spam folder. What can I do?
Most email filters/software can be taught to allow emails through with certain parameters. Customize the protection level and reset your filter to accept our email. Please add newsletter@FacesofLyme.com, info@FacesofLyme.com, and business@FacesofLyme.com to your Allow List/ White List/Address Book.
 
  • I received an inappropriate message. What can I do?
We are very sorry that you received an inappropriate message in the form of one of our Ecards. This violates our Terms of Service and we take this violation very seriously. Please send the Ecard to us at info@FacesofLyme.com. and we will do all we can to ensure this does not happen again. Our consequences for this behavior are immediate suspension of membership rights.
If you feel physically threatened, you should contact your local law enforcement authorities immediately. We will cooperate with their investigation in any way we can, consistent with applicable law and our privacy policies.
If you would like, you can block your email address from receiving any further Ecards from our site. Do so by going to your "My Account" tab in your private profile pages. Click on "Manage Your Email", click on "Manage Email Preferences" and select the check box next to "Do Not Send Me Ecards" and click on Update. You will no longer be able to receive Ecards from the FacesofLyme site.
